Using apostrophes to mark singular possession in nouns
When using an apostrophe to show singular possession, it goes before the 's' in the noun.
Example:
The bird's nest is high up in the tree.
Children rewrite the sentences by adding an apostrophe in the correct place. This resource can be used at home or in the classroom.
